Sergey Nazarov Theater of Sand took part in “Saint Petersburg Saloon in Florence”. This event is a gift to the Italian cultural capital from Russian capital of culture.

The project was initiated by the theater-festival “Baltic House” with the support of the Culture Committee of the Government of St.Petersburg in collaboration with the Government of Tuscany (Italy).
Different artists from Russia performed in one of the most beautiful palaces in Florence – Palazzo Medici Riccardi. There were the soloists of Mariinsky Theater Elena Ushakova and Evgeny Akimov, violin virtuoso Alexander Yakushev, performance theater “Korolevskyi Zhiraf” and, of course, Sergey Nazarov Theater of Sand. Limited space of Palazzo Medici Riccardi could hardly accommodate all the spectators - lovers of Russian art.

Tatyana Litvinenko's composition "The Island of White Birds" (KVARTAL band) inspired Sergey Nazarov to create animated sand-movie for it.
KVARTAL is the first Russian avant-lounge project, which mix together light lyrics, energetic rhythm, performing professionalism, original stylistic solutions and, of course, charming vocal of Tatyana Litvinenko, which so magically attracts listener .

Sergey Nazarov Theatre of Sand took part in a series of concert programs "Your Future in Your Hands", organized by Netsurf Communications (P) Ltd.

Netsurf is a leading corporation, specializing in the making of the products for improving the quality of life - health care, agricultural products, personal care range, etc. Concerts were devoted to 10 th anniversary of the company and held in Pune and Surat.

A friendly atmosphere, warm hospitality and the sincerity of the audience made Sergey's performances even more alive and dynamic.

Sergey Nazarov Theatre of Sand took part in the opening ceremony of the festival of sand sculptures, organized by "Professional Sculptors Union".
The theme of the festival is "Holy Russia". The exhibition presents the greatest personality and events in the history of Russia: Baptism of Russia, Andrei Rublev, Alexander Nevsky, Kulikov Battle, etc. Special for the Moscow Festival, a unique single composition has been developed some parts of which have built by the leading masters of the world.

Moscow Festival 2010 is supported by the World Federation of Sand Sculpture and the World Academy of Sand Sculpture and become one of the qualifying stages of the International World Championship of Sand Sculpture.

Accompanied by Nikolay Massalsky live music, Daria Kuznetsova together with Sergey Nazarov developed and presented to audience animated characters from sculpture.

Sergey Nazarov Theater of Sand together with young artist Darya Kuznetsova, to the accompaniment of a chamber orchestra, took part in a gala-night Art of Consonance. Event was organized by the company Inteco as a part of Russian Seasons in France and The Year of Russia in France. During the evening there were performances of Russian and French artists and music bands – L’Air Show (France), Belleville Band (Russia), jazz improvisation by Anna Koroleva (Moscow).







January, 22 – February,8 2010 – The tour of Theater of the Sand in India.

With the support of IIT Bombay, IIT Kharagpur and NIT Durgapur Theater Sand performed in India.
Road-show was timed to the opening of the major Asian festivals of modern computer technology:

December, 16th, 2009. People Of The World Inscribe The Bible

The Bible Lands Museum in Jerusalem has recently opened to the public a display of People of the World Inscribe the Bible, a unique project initiated by the Bible Valley Society together with the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The project is a global initiative wherein hundreds of thousands of people unite together to hand-inscribe Bibles in their native languages.

On display in the museum is a selection of complete inscribed Bibles representing a variety of languages and nationalities including Chinese, Tamil, Taiwanese and Finish. The display is enhanced with selected artwork from the project Children Of the World Paint the Bible that was originally exhibited at the Bible Lands Museum in 1999.

Sergey Nazarov performed with his sandy show in the concert program dedicated to the presentation of the project in Moscow. Performance took place at the Jewish Cultural Center in Moscow.

Sergey Nazarov Theater of Sand performed on at the awards ceremony of the annual national award "Success. Best Corporate Lawyer of the Year”. The award was established in 2008 with a view to enhancing the prestige of this profession and to highlight its social significance, as well as to encourage corporate lawyers, who leading an active educational, scientific, educational activities, participating in the formation of law enforcement, development of professional corporate lawyers and is actively involved in the Corporate Lawyers Society for the benefit of its members.

This year's award ceremony took place during the gala-dinner at Casta Diva restaurant, Moscow on December, 11th, 2009.

Awards ceremony “ Chrustalnaya Ladya” (“Crystal Boat”)

Sergey Nazarov Theater of Sand performed in a ceremony of evaluation of professional competition among hotel companies in Moscow and the awarding of the hospitality industry award “Cristal Boat”. The ceremony was held at the Renaissance Hotel Marriott Moscow. The contest was conducted by the Office of the Affairs of the Mayor and the Moscow government in collaboration with GAO "Moscow".

Sergey Nazarov’ Theatre of Sand took part in video contest “Raise Your Voice” in Russia, under which anyone in the Earth could share his opinion about climate changing. Participants made short movies and posted it on COP 15 Channel on You Tube.
Organizers of video RAISE YOUR VOICE are: Google in collaboration with OXFAM INTERNATIONAL, WWF Russia, Greenpeace Russia, Moscow Government Department of Energy Savings and RIA NOVOSTI agency.

September, 27, 2009 in Sokolniki park, Moscow festival PEACE&LOVE has started - it s a project in support of deaf and hearing impaired people. The purpose of the festival is involving of deaf persons to the society of healthy people, attracting public attention to solving their problems.

As part of the festival, Theatre of Sand gave performance in conjunction with jazz band JAZZY FUNKY

April 11, 2009 at the Moscow District Palace of Arts Kuzminki took place a concert dedicated to the 6th anniversary of children s show Smeshariki and launch of a new theatrical project Philharmonic of Smeshariki .

Favorite cartoon characters have become the puppets and together with their authors (Theater Troupe Smeshariki) played wonderful music show. Every part of concert has it s own plot. It was accompanied by a fanny game, interactive games with auditorium, consists of children and their parents.

Sergey Nazarov s Theatre of Sand produced performance in collaboration with children from creative team Sophia s Light . Performance has received a lot of positive feedbacks from the audience and the organizers of the festival.

Christmas Tree in the orphanage "Blago", Odintsovo, Moscow District


Sergey Nazarov s Theatre of Sand, with the active participation of Lydia Tokareva and Valeria Lankina organized a Christmas party for inmates of Odintsovo orphanage.
The program turned out to be rich: Ded Moroz (Russian Santa) with Snow Maiden, a puppet show on the Christmas theme, presented by students of the Sunday school at the temple of St. Tatiana, and, of course, sand show. Children took part in different games and contests, saw the puppet performance Christmas Crib . And then, when the light s turned off, attention of the audience was fully paid to magic sand pictures by Sergey Nazarov.
After Sergey s performance, children had opportunity to create with their own hands sand pictures.
At the end of the program, artists presented gifts for inmates toys, sweets and developing games.
